Forgetting the odd thing, even people's names sometimes as we get older is normal, it's not a sign of Alzheimer's impending arrival...

It isn't anything bad to forget names, that's pretty normal for a busy lady.
It's when you forget what a toothbrush is for, or how to put in your false teeth, or that a book is for reading, that you are in trouble.

A cruel disease and yes people cunningly hide their advancing disease from everyone for as long as they can. Well written beloved lady.

You have a way with words in your poetry. I would like to see a cure for Alzheimer's.

Good thinking Justi . Just a thought, many people seem afraid of those with this affliction.
I wish more would spend a little time, just talking to to the Carer who spends a life in solitude. It is possibly equally, or worse for them than it is for the victim.

✺It’s both delightful and meaningful in terms of the message at the end, concerning Alzheimer’s disease love. BC-A, Bill’s R®st
