Kabu, pods are the only way to go! LOL. I use them all the time. Simple, easy, less messy, etc.

I buy those capsules that promise to do everything and throw them on top of my clothes before or as I am adding water. My wash is always clean and bright. I think that softener is overrated.

Geez, you made doing the laundry seem so complex! On your table are shakers of salt, pepper and sugar. You know what each one is for! Well, detergent, bleach and fabric softener also have their own purposes! You wouldn't put pepper in your coffee, or sugar on your fried chicken, would you? Reason it out, and try again . . .
