We'd like to think so, but somehow I doubt it. If people would simply follow the "Golden Rule," then the concept behind so-called Judeo-Christian values is technically meaningless. How we treat one another should have nothing to do with religious ties . . .

"The U.S" is an abstract concept - it's neither 'conscious' nor 'self-conscious'...Most Americans, on the other hand, are probably conscious, as are most people everywhere...But how aware they are of 'deviations in Judeo-Christian values' I don't know, particularly since I don't exactly know what you mean...

I would imagine that there is a word that should be repeated too often with a job interview...Sitting up straight would be a good idea...I am inclined to believe that young people are more egotistical...I feel that U.S. culture is still self-conscius of deviations in Judeo-Christian values.
