Good luck with the paper. I think that you are going to do extremely well with this one. like wiley always says the person suffering PTSD is encouraged by well meaning people to self medicate with alcohol to "get over" the experience. Sobering up of course everything comes rushing back...so the circle of drinking becomes more and more necessary...

It sounded somewhat strange that you would begin by letting yourself be confused about the assignment. But as you've said, it lead to the discovery of other elements of your topic, so I guess it benefitted you in the end. I know these are serious issues that people have been addressing for a long time, and many people do need help! It sometimes makes me grateful I don't drink at all! I am convinced that CPTSD is endemic in American societ
because of the dysfunctional ways children are treated, and left to raise themselves.
You might want to carry a spare pair, to make the best impression at that interview! Best of luck with that!
