Probably the silliest thing I've done thus far was to walk around my yard in my bare feet! We have many deer that pass through from time to time, and they're not all that discretionary when it comes to their 'leavings!' Talk about a mine field . . .

If you mean "this summer", not much.
If you mean any summer, I could list a few. The one my sons remember and throw up to me quite often was the summer we backpacked to the bottom of the Grand Canyon and back up and I did it with just 39 cent (at that time) flip-flops on my feet. I think they cost a couple dollars now. Of course they wore out before I got back to the top and my feet were in pretty bad condition for a while.
