This is great! My Son adopted his stepson when he was fifteen. He had been trying since he was twelve but it took three years to get a dead-beat dad to agree. You would not believe how happy and proud he has been to be legally what he had already been--a part of a great family.

Wow! That is really fabulous - and of course congratulations to you both, to you for your 'new' daughter and to Pam for her 'new' Mom! 
So Mimo is coming to Canada a lot? Hamilton is just down the road (sort of) - practically a suburb of Toronto, even if a Hamiltonian would probably kill me for that, LOL...
