My step granddaughter went to boarding school at 14 and from then on she was away but my heart was with her always. You will be with her every moment but you will miss that she is not with you some of the time. Be blessed.

I have no daughters, but I must say I felt pretty much the same way towards my first son when he joined the U.S. Navy and left home.
