Re: Naut

Life is cruel Naut, some sensitive folk used to give their pig a nice apple on the morning of it's departure. Enjoy your porridge.

Re: Taps
Well I'll tell you something Taps. My neighbor asked me to kill six ducks and rather than see them tortured I said I would do it. As I was a poultry farmer at that time I could kill a hen in a second, not strangle the poor thing like some do. Anyway I killed these six ducks in about a few minutes. Afterwards I had a bad arm for weeks their necks are like a piece of tow rope. No wonder she chopped them.

well i guess i am almost ready to give up meat. had a nice corned beef and cabbage yesterday. i understand feeding a cow corn is slowly killing the cow and it is in misery, so i guess i had misery and cabbage yesterday. and the poor little pig with his master gone how long is he for this world and after being a pet.

We used to have ducks that loved the dog food. They ate so much of it and got so big that while we were on vacation one summer my MIL chopped off their heads, plucked them, dressed them and put them in the freezer for us to eat, all but one which she took home to roast for herself.

Poor little piggy! Looking forward to its holidays at a luxury hotel in a beautiful seaside town called Bacon, spending the days on the golf course and at the beach, dancing into the wee hours in the town's glamorous nightclubs - and then, what a terrible shock when the realization hits that this Bacon place is the end of the road...

This poem put a smile on my face. My sister's favorite animal is the pig, so I know that she would love it, too.
