LOL!
This reminds me when we had a dog and cat. The cat would run my 80 lb lab in circles and he would just wag his tail. I'd laugh when that 9 lb cat would chase that big dog under the desk just to get away.

😫Because of the little creatures, I brought in my cereal and Cup Noodles from the shed this morning. At home, I grew enough for ‘em to snack on my time love. BC-A, Bill’s R😫😫st

One has to be careful, though! Sometimes those smells can hit ya when you least expect it, and not all of them are pleasant! But as long as you have a safe, warm loving home to return to, all is well with the world! And the pre-season is almost over! Are you sure you're ready for some hockey-hockey-hockey . . .?

Well Grump, you are really a lucky old doggie, my master sometimes scratches my neck but I have to sleep in the porch because a nasty grey cat came into the greenhouse and bit me. I have been promised a hot water bottle, but I am hoping for a small heater to make it more cosy. I am not used to living in a house, I like to go in and wander around and then go out and lie in the sun. I think the sun goes to sleep in the winter I can't remember because I slept in the greenhouse last year. I did hear someone say that women have the same emotional feelings about their pet as they do about children.
Meow Bonnie.

Dear Grump. Thank you for writing for your human mistress. You stay as well as you can for as long as you can for her. She is very precious to us as you are...sending hugs to all...yes even the cat.

It's sooo nice to hear from Grump, and it's good of him to mention you also! I hope the meds are working well! Give him a scratch behind the ears from me, and Bennie sends a 'woof'...

This is so charming!
With some illustrations--I'm thinking, drawn not photographed--it is the start of a fine little book. Maybe each of the family could provide a chapter? Even Smooch!
