Fascinating! I love music, mainly classical and jazz, and occcasionally I dabble at (can't say I play it) the clarinet. I adore beautiful voices (Italian Bel Canto Opera), and I decided a long time ago that in my next life I'm going to marry a Soprano...

I had a beautiful high Soprano voice...Now I have an old ladies voice and wouldn't spoil a choir by singing.It will be interesting to see if she can take self criticism.
And yes, getting paid means professional. I call myself an author because I am published and get teeny weeny royalties even.

Geez, I can't sing at all, and envy those who do ( or can ). And I would never embarrass myself by recording any singing attempts either! Hey, if you're getting paid, I would imagine you are a professional . . .

Well when my singing voice was discovered by the teacher's ear I was giving a triangle and told to mime the words.
