It was indeed, C C T. And as far as my comments are concerned, I usually call 'em the way I see 'em! No point in pulling punches. The damage has already been done! Yes, some of us are apparently quite mad . . .

Foxy, Sir Wiley? Not weird or wacky, or at least bizarre? Well, as long as you got a kick out of reading them . . .

Re: Jimmy
I'll have to agree, Krisles. In my second book, "Welcome To America - Society In Decline," I addressed that same mutation, referring to it as the 'idiot virus.' You think these examples are weird and wacky! The stuff I covered in that book! Geez . . .

That's good, 9STAR, and hopefully a few things to think about as well, like what not to do in certain situations . . .

Goodness Jimmy it makes one wonder if we are all as mad as we think we are. Your remarks are a bit near the bone at times, but quite suited to the subject. This was Brill.

Thanks, TAPS. After reading and posting these, there's no way I couldn't leave some kind of comment, usually the first thought that came to mind! And sometimes I think 'crazy' may be an understatement . . .

Re: jimmy
It is indeed, jean, it is indeed! There's a section of the New York Post entitled "Strange But True" that I pick up every once in a while. They usually have 6 or 7 stories like these, some stranger than others. I tend to pick out the ones that are more on the bizarre side! They're fun to share, aren't they . . . ?

It was pretty bizarre, wasn't it, adnohr? The thing that struck me about that particular story was that they didn't take any pucks! I mean, I wouldn't steal any bats without stealing any baseballs . . .

Re:
It probably would, Vermont. But then again, knowing what is actually going on with those doggies, probably any water would create that disturbance! Well, put yourself in their place! How 'in the mood' would you continue to be if someone doused you and your mate at that moment . . . ?

Oh, I'd find something, Annicita, hopefully on the amusing side! Remember, this is all coming "from the observation deck," and this is what I observe. At least it's never dull or unamusing . . .

You're probably right, Kabu. Hopefully it's very cold water! And it is things like this that can make people feel a little better about themselves! Stupidity is pretty universal, but sometimes it's better to be in the audience than be a participant . . .

Something tells me, FSI, that you'll probably never see programming like that here in the states! Europeans are a little more lax when it comes to anything sexual, and sometimes I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing . . .

Re: I think Isaac Asimov's robot rules are considered standard for all
That's all too true, Pat. They're trying not to make robots ( or other machines ) that can 'out-think' us, but it may already be too late for that! At least these machines don't have emotions . . . yet!

What's so wacky about that, Naut? It would be like a husband being expected to condemn his wife when she says or does something stupid. You know he's gonna look the other way and not say a word . . .

When my sisters and I were kids, our Great Grandmother would get so disturbed
seeing dogs mate. She would encourage us to throw hot water on them. I thought
wouldn't cold be more appropriate.

I think Isaac Asimov's robot rules are considered standard for all
AI entities - no robot can harm a human, cannot use a weapon except in defense of human life. Unfortunately we humans have already violated that principle, sending drones to do our dirty work.

LOL - great stuff! And here's another howler for you, one that in addition is also infuriating...As I gleaned from one of Corbin Dallas blogs just now, some Muslim by the name of Ahmed Shihab-Eldin announced on FOX NEWS that it’s "an unfair burden on Islam" to ask Muslims to condemn terrorism...
