Kabu, it's the benefit of not living beyond our means...we have a 2-story but it's relatively small, and the upstairs always stays warm.

i did not go out today and I probably won't go out tomorrow. It is unbelievably cold bbut of course peoplereally have their homes set for such cold...houses tend to be small too unless money is growing on a tree for someone, LOL. That means one heats all of the house. So inside it is always pleasant.

I don't blame you at all! I usually prefer the cold to the heat, but this is ridiculous! And I was under the impression that the Arctic Circle had relocated down here to just below Jersey . . .

I know how you feel! Under a briliant sky with strong winds our high today was -2F, and the windchill factor for tonight, just before sundown, is predicted to be -45C, that's -49F... Bennie will be wearing a blanket under his two coats when we go out for walkies, and I'll be looking like the Michelin Man...
