Re:
They're not all set 500 years ago. Most are set modern day, and they're just as enjoyable as the ones set in the Goryeo and Joseon Dynasties. I think it's the cultural difference.

Re: GG
Naut...yes, our declining civilization is a tragic reality. I can only focus on it for so long before I become too depressed to blog.

Re:
Purple Purse---Filial Piety is definitely a practice that we here in the west are far from understanding. I often think if we adopted it just a little we'd live in a better behaved world.

It's somewhat amazing that you found anything good to watch on TV anymore! For me, it's either sports, the History Channel or Turner Classic Movies . . .

I was going to comment...enjoy this harmless fun....but then if you are going to fall off the edge of the earth....which 500 years ago was flat...according to some folks anyway...perhaps I would suggest a glass of warm water with epsom salts to cleanse your system. ....Go ahead and have fun love.

Perhaps it's also because it's not set in today but rather 500 years ago...I am like that with mexican telenovelas...they only last months compared to lasting years and years in the US

Well, there are worse addictions, I'm sure, LOL, and I can see the appeal! Maybe I should take something like that up as an escape from the ringside seat I've occupied for some time now, being fascinated by the horror that's gnawing away at our very civilization...

It sounds like the material on those shows is very fresh...It seems like a lot of television on America is more of the same.

I've seen some of those, while channel surfing in the old days
when I had TV and I also noticed the addictive properties.
If for some reason you wanted to put quotes around that title, they would include the question mark within them. Italics is a perfectly reasonable way to distinguish a title, however.

My daughter lived there for two years and she misses it terribly. It is soooo her. Even her dog came back groomed like a cartoon character. I love the part where it is law to pay respect to elderly there.
