Last night a girl on the bus said she was a baby with a contract to do backup singing work. But she feels she has to learn the ropes of stage presence and techniques love.

Well, writing instead of talking will save your voice! And if continues to hurt, try a spoonful ( or two ) of honey! Nice and soothing . . .

Not talking at all for a couple of days or until the pipes feel better is truly the best treatment.

Yes tough like a navvy without a spade, well muscles really. Wish I could sing but I expect most folk are glad that I cannot.
