I had to deal with a 'threat' a year and a half ago when my wife and I attended a Jets-Giants pre-season game. A rowdy group sitting behind us forced me to finally open my mouth, and it began to look like fists would eventually be thrown. But most of the time, my inner 'big picture' spirit speaks up and reminds me that the overall end result just isn't worth it. Needless to say, we don't go to Jets-Giants pre-season games anymore . . .

I usually confront threats. You need to stand your ground or people will walk all
over you.

Well one does not raise much antagonism as one becomes older. Drunk people sometimes have become aggressive but I usually ignored them unless they were dwarfs.

I don't remember any threats.
Did you ever see Drew Barrymore in the made for TV "Grey Gardens"? That was quite different. Very interesting.
