my daffoldills are from my trip to england, dug up at the side of the road and smuggled back in my suitcase. i forgot i had them, and thought they were to old to plant so i threw them out by a tree and low and behold, i love them.

Well, we turned our clocks 'ahead' this weekend, and hopefully that does speed up the arrival of Spring! No flowers blooming up here yet! Unfortunately, I think it will be quite a while before we see any of that . . .

I'm glad your experiencing spring, it doesn't seem it wants to come up here.

When my mom would get the winter blues, we would go out and buy some cut flowers (they're pretty cheap in stores around here) and she would arrange them in a pretty vase. It would chase those blues right away!

Well I took a chance and planted a batch of anemone bulbs. The instructions said soak in water ,before planting, but our ground is quite wet so I just slipped them in with a trowel. I somehow don't feel that we will have any more severe weather, 50 years ago it was different never cast a clout until May is out. The patterns change as you know. Yes I would try and get the box up , you don't want to miss out, after you have been to the trouble of getting it/ Something else might come up, but don't overdo it. You are not 100% yet, but getting that way.
