beautiful writing, it brought back memories. my father was from wilks-barre so i spent some time in the poconos. but my favorite times in the mountains were in the colorado rockies, nights around a camp fire outside the tent. thanks

Re:
Krisles, that sounds nice but they need polishing up. I found three word order
problems in this post alone. And ''Boone'' oh boy...too instead of to.... The struggles
of a beginning writer.

One of my father's businesses, Location D, is in Pennsylvania. Being a Marylander, I have been through different parts of Pennsylvania. I find the scenery there to be very beautiful.

Are you going to put all of these posts together into a travel memoir/guide? I'm enjoying hearing your perspective on the area itself, and your nostalgic fondness for that time in your life. I've driven through parts of Pa but I'll have to dig out photos to remember which part....I know other stops on that trip were DC, Trenton, Hartford, on into Vt....oh, and I did drive across the Brooklyn Bridge - it was my first trip to NY! It was a very strange two week odyssey....
