Many years ago, I had a heart murmur, where my heart would suddenly begin racing on its own with no prompting. It was scary, especially because I was only in my 20's at the time! Over time it simply went away ( how I don't know ) but I keep it in the back of my mind that it did happen, so now I'm extra careful! And that's all you can do . . . be aware, and be careful! Hope things continue to improve for you . . .

I know people who have this and it seems to occur at random. The pills seem fairly effective thank goodness. One has to remain optimistic.
