I was thinking it was a dream. Awesome story, Justi. And yes - there are times when one needs to slide over to the other side, scary as it may be, to protect what we hold precious.

i now own 2 hand guns, i enjoy shooting them at the target range. but i do not keep them loaded in the house.....my friends tell me i need to keep them loaded, i dont because i do not think i could shoot another person. i keep thinking lucy would wake me up if someone was breaking in and i keep my bedroom door locked so maybe i would have time to load one of them.

Interesting story, although the actual 'truth' behind it is still somewhat vague. However, this story also brought back such terrible memories for me because I was in a similar situation ( as least as far as the courtroom proceedings were concerned ). Not a pleasant experience at all, let me tell you . . .

Well if it had been true, I don't think you deserved going to prison for even a day or humiliated wearing those horrible clothes. Of course over here you would need a gun licence showing you used it for game. I still have a good air rifle, but don't tell anyone.
