I know eBay was at one time the top place to buy used vehicles so you might try looking on there.....I had a lot of luck with Carmax myself. I'll send out a call to the fairies

Kudos to your daughter. Not many people can do what she does, and services like hers will probably always be in demand! No, not a lot of information on used cars or ferry services. Sorry. Something will come up . . .

I've had very good luck with the 2004 Toyota I bought at
Enterprise, the rental car company. I bought it in 2004 with about 17,000 miles on it and it now has about 33,000 (I don't drive it very far since I'm retired, but I do routine maintenance, as time alone affects tires, battery. I usually change the oil and get the fluids checked every fall.
