Well I have always liked giraffes Naut and as usual you give a few tips on gender, well you would do if necessary. You should search through your old blogs most of us were not aware of this site in the old days,so rewrites are fresh news.

I did not know that there were different types of giraffes. I had assumed (you know the old saying) that there was only one kind of giraffe. We do learn something new every day.

Well, I certainly did not know that the okapi was a giraffid artiodactyl animal. I missed that somewhere along the way. One never knows what one is going to learn on Blogit from other Blogit posters. I do love the poem. Great fun.

OMG....Well, I'm so glad you brought this back out and it almost seems familiar but maybe just because you mentioned you might. Anyway, I just really looked into the okapi and they are sooo beautiful! I've always found zebras interesting but too much for my eye to find appealing but this animal is just lovely....colors flowing around the body in perfect shadings...I'm wondering if Robert Bateman has a rendering....hmmmm. I did read thatBernie Kosar is said to have almost two dozen at his home in Ohio...can you imagine having a herd of them in your backyard to gaze at as you had your morning brew?! But it makes me nervous because he owns a steakhouse and had a lot of concussions...
