Re: Nope! I would stop by with my camera phone, LOL!
Well, adnohr, in certain Jersey neighborhoods, you'd really be taking a chance if you actually stopped to take pictures! Some people, even the wacky ones, like their privacy . . .

Re:
Well, adnohr, we really can't blame them! I mean, if several families on your block were having open-invite parties, and you noticed that, at one house, a lot of wacky nonsense was going on, wouldn't you drive right on by? I thought so . . .

Now that, C C T, is pretty low! We all know that logic and common sense are dead! Are morals and scruples dieing off too? It makes you wonder sometimes how these people can sleep at night . . .

Re:
A little of both, Annicita. There's about 6 or 7 of these odd tales everyday in the New York Post under the heading Weird But True. During the course of the week, I pluck the odd 2 or 3 that appear to be the strangest ( in my opinion ) and group them together for my Friday post. So far, everyone seems to enjoy them . . .

They do indeed, FSI. What's even worse, as far as I'm concerned, are the various stories I hear or read about the people who work at the place caught dipping into those collection jars themselves! Some people have no conscience, I guess . . .

Re: JimmyA
Thanks, Sir Wiley. And anytime I see any war movie or documentary about WW II or the Korean War, and planes are shown, I can't help but think of my dad, and his possible contribution to the 'war effort.' It's frightening and fascinating at the same time . . .

It would seem, Kabu, that different people have their own interpretations as to what 'magic' is! I too would be reluctant to buy and/or eat anything 'home-made' where the chef looks even somewhat questionable . . .

Gee, Naut, I'm sure glad you don't like to type all that much! And I'll tell ya what . . . forget that penny and that nickel! I'll give you a whole dime's worth, if you'd like! However, I don't think these wacky stories are worth all that much to begin with . . .

Believe it or not, lustor, I have actually heard worse excuses for spouses killing each other, or at least attempting to kill each other! It just makes my relationship with my wife feel that much more special, because we never argue about anything . . .

Haha! I have to agree with you - the UFO's probably checked us out, then drove right on by!

Yes your blog certainly shows the idiosyncrasies of a minority, one hopes Jimmy.
The only thing I can think of to match these cases is that someone stole the collection box and contents from the local Home for terminal patients

I remember one time someone tried to steal from a collection jar my Dad had for Pediatric Cancer research at Location A. Those are the kind of incidents that make a person lost faith in humankind...

Thanks for your comment in my blog about your dad. I was a Sabre jet tech but worked at it part time really. Enjoyed this blog of yours too.

Loved these stories! I was tempted to comment to each one, actually - but that would turn into a post, and involve far too much typing, and as you and everybody here already knows, I absolutely hate typing more than is necessary under virtually any circumstances, no matter what, and no mater how much I am tempted to weigh in with my two cents' worth, although I should probably say 'nickel's worth' now, 'cause in this country we have officially abolished the cent, or penny, as some call it, even though they're still in circulation, and I have a lot of them in glass jar in one of my drawers...Maybe one day they'll be worth a mint...
