first vent in a journal...for as long as you can...let it out on paper...then burn it! After that contact friends and go out for a night on the town doing what you love to do...buy yourself something you denied yourself in past...like a slinky black dress...feel good about yourself on the outside so you also feel good on the inside...It takes time but it will happen.

I would say, getting together with family and good friends as often as possible, which lends itself to support, should help considerably . . .

First time I pretty much went right off the rails...second time was such enormous relief but It cost me a great deal of money.

A lot of prayer and house cleaning. Get rid of the reminders. Get a new hair style. Make lists of new things to do. Do not begin dating right away let yourself get through this first before you add more problems.
