kabu, i wish we had seasons here, it is just summer, hot and humid or winter , now the winters are mild and no snow so i cant complain.....usually rainy though. where i grew up in kansas we got lots of snow and i can remember we would go out to build snowmen, sled and just have fun making snow angels. good thing memories.

we are on the same page with nature love...I am always at peace outside with animals and trees and flowers etc. I love the seasons.

it is a brown thrasher, they are beautiful birds, rich colors, an auburn brown with black and white markings...... haha i went back this evening and got a quick picture of the babies. dont know if it turned out yet as i was trying to look around for the parents and get the picture quickly. what fun.

you just have to admire parental devotion. Tiny little guys but with hearts of Lions. Great picture My Jean...everything is so green and beautiful and fantastic shot of the wee bird with a beak full of goodies for the bubs.

Very cute - until it begins to hurt - LOL...Do you know what kind of birds these are? I'm no ornithologist - I just recognize chickens, ducks and geese, and these don't seem to fall into any of those categories...
