I don't know what you were thinking with the bracelet either. A girl is bound to read a message of very much interested in a gift like that.
I believe in today's world in a couple sharing expenses but I would think that if I was invited out to dinner that he was paying....and if he was not flush with money I wouldn't be expecting top price restuarant. Would be dressed casual for the date....but that was all years ago...and I had to walk home more than once when a Mr. bloody rude expected that paying for a meal was his ticket to bedroom activities.!
