I have my own battle with builders... most of the work can be done by a competent handyman but I have a small brick wall that needs rebuilding and quotes range from £1400 to £5000 - go figure!

I have found that propane is very expensive also. I would stay as far away from Joe
as possible. The Blue Ridge Mtns. are great. I'm thinking of spending part of my
winters in either Boone or Flatrock, N.C. starting this year or next.

check with an insurance agent...it might be hard or more expensive to have insure with propane

He is stalking, and deliberately waking you to upset you and the police and letting evryone think that he cares. I don't like this one bit.It is slow getting work done and frustrating but it seems that you are great at finding someone to work at your price. I was hopiing to read you so thank you for giving us an update.

PP Over here one has to declare all faults on a property to the potential buyer. It does not do to quarrel with the neighbor or that has to be stated as well. Of course the price is built in to compensate the seller. Though no one wants to buy next to rowdy neighbors unless there is a big discount on offer.
