Sometimes it's things such as the apearance of left-turn lanes that are the visible markers of the subtle, deeper changes taking place even in small communities...And I just know the rainbows were beautiful...

I can certainly relate to some of the inconveniences of living in a rural area. And
from what I can see, Texas is growing at a rapid clip. Second largest economy in the
U.S. I believe. I think I would have to live in the western part of Texas if I were to go
there. Not as humid, more open land and less tornadoes.

I just hope that I never live in a big city again. I just love our little place in the Woods, the seclusion and nature. But yes there are always draw backs for living outside the big cities. I knew people in Sydney who seemed to believe that you fell off the end of the World if you left the inner city area.
