she has 5 horses and at least 3 dogs, so when he started herding i guess it was just to much for her, lol.....i got a great gift when she let me have him.

That is great but I would think if you take in any more they would probably fight
with one another. And dogs are very good at finding their way home. He must not of

dog Lady....I like that. You and our adnohr both. LOL. and I don't think that any one is breaking their heart over your Fred. He wasn't chipped and that says that he was just let out of a car and they drove on....getting to be too much trouble. It breaks my heart. If they will do it to a dog or cat horse etc, what will they do to us when we can't take care of ourselves.

I highly commend you for taking in 'Fred', and for taking the others as well! It breaks my heart seeing dogs neglected and abandoned. Sometimes they don't have serious problems, but even when they do it's amazing to see the transformation after they have been rescued, as happened with my Bennie...
