Well he went back as you say the next Sunday Justi. Perhaps the preacher was a bit more wary proclaiming future events from then on.

What a wonderful character....I am sure that someone he could respect gave him proof...I wonder what he would have thought of man going to the Moon....there is a good reason that we don't live too long.
My father adore his Father -in-law but teased him because he was a strict Baptist....he could always upset him (and my Mother too) by saying..." So Pa, they tell us now that we came from the monkeys????" Naughty Dad.

Can't help but admire a man who speaks his mind as Henry did!Maybe he did realize that progress did indeed make a jet possible - or maybe he just decided that he needed to go to church, lying preacher or not.
