A beautiful story and a beautiful true story, and I love how you describe how she came to you to meet you and then to sit on your foot. Amimals really communicate with us. She is certainly a winner.

What a tale! The beginning has some similarities to my experience when adopting Bennie, but then...I take it things did not go smoothly, but I do hope for a happy ending...
