A sweet and very fitting tribute to our Lady kabu, C. C.  I hope you've been well.

Re: Krisles

Krisles. Usually we used to chant that ditty when a ladybird landed on our hand.

The usual procedure was to then blow and she usually took off. Children hands are soft and I have been nipped occasionally by one. The offspring are rather queer looking creatures they can be found in summer on stinging nettles

Re: Taps

Well she can do most things, skin a rabbit, or prepare a live congo eel, so it must be Taps.

It must be Kabu.  She's the only one I know that paints yellow dots on red rocks.

Clever as ever.....and is a ladybird like a ladybug?  I doubt it or it wouldn't be called a bird, but I've never seen a brightly spotted bird that I can recal.  I love little ladybugs, though....and this reminded me that I haven't seen on in sometime! It seems there was a cute little ditty, "Ladybug, ladybug, fly away home...you're house is on fire and you're kids are alone."  Wait, that can't be it because that's not cute at all!LOL!
