That is true.
I do wonder how we are to define "harrassment". Some people may feel harrassed just the mere presence of a protester or petitionor. Others enter into a dialogue and antagonize those protesting before playing the victim card.
Our right to peaceful demonstrations are exactly that, aren't they? The protesters also do deserve to be harrassed by obvious opposition. In many cases I wonder which came first- the chicken or the egg?

Yes the First Amendment must be upheld, but not as a shield for treading on others as is stated. Very interesting article, thank you for sharing it.
