That is great for your grandson, maybe all the jumping will advance his career. But it is dangerous. I went to Airborne school in the Army, jumped 5 times to get my wings, that is all the jumping I did. Most dangerous part was actually exiting the plane with a hundred other guys in quick order. You were then surrounded by men floating down with parachutes, and the dangers of getting tangled were high. If you got tangled and one man's chute collapsed, it was very bad. Your grandson will know about this, better than me.

One of my grandsons is working toward that. He is a U.S. Army Airborne paratrooper with a lot of those jumps under his belt but they can't be used for his license for this because those jumps are ripcords fastened to a line to pull. So everytime he is home on leave he does a lot of the kind of jumps that count toward the 100 jumps he has to have before he can take the wingsuit training. He and his cousin who also is doing it are both quite good now with the free-fall acrobatics. Personally, I'd just as soon he do something else. That is pretty frightening in my opinion.
