I totally agree with your condemnation of Saudi government and religious leaders, and their oppression of women. They oppress and attack not only their women, but all who disagree with their predatory religion. This is happening by different degrees in every Muslim mosque in the world, including those mosques in your home town and mine.

I strongly disapprove of and dislike the power of the elites in Saudi A.
I always have because they are horrific human rights abusers, namely of women. I also strongly disapprove and dislike my government's unwavering support, aid and comfort to a proven enemy - 9-11 hijackers - and to the above stated Saudi elites - all for the sake of big oil's profits. These muftis and other elites in SA are more driven by an overwhelming and totally disgusting lust for control and dominance of women and apparently all aspects of life in the kingdom than they are guided by Islamic teachings; much more so.

I am tempted to echo Krisles - what strange substance have you smoked or ingested? Even for sarcastic purposes I will not don a Muslim dishrag, LOL...That said, the 'outrage' you speak of seems to be muted and restricted to the also rather restricted chess circles, among whom I am not circling much these days, although did once. But the outrage this particular idiocy has caused (and frankly, I was not aware of its scriptural basis - I've read enough the damn Hadiths to last me a lifetime, LOL), while in one sense trivial, might nonetheless help in opening a few people's eyes to the more fundamental eveil that is Islam...
And of course we completely agree on Islam, though not on Socrates, as you will read in 'View', LOL...

Not smoking anything..... this is just what happens when I put on my Mufti hat, er, I mean my Mufti dish rag. As you should know, from one Mufti to another..... We can interpret the Koran and Hadith just as well, or better, than the Muslims. We just recognize it as the predatory evil that it is, and refuse to follow it, and call it what it is.
