Re: Katray2
Thank you for that. I think that they will be saved. I saw how very much their population has decreased since '03. Something people don't think about too often. Yes, here's hoping... You be well.

Re:Nautikos
That is sad to see them become scare where they used to be safe and well-fed. I believe their natural migration instincts will eventually allow the population there to recover. Their migration path is right here, and they are a delight.

RP
It's beautiful, and it reminds me that in our part of the world Monarch butterflies are becoming scarce! The reason was that farmers were required to destroy milkweed, the main sourse of food for Monarchs. That regulation has since been rescinded, but the Monarch population hasn't recovered...

Re: kasperhoe
Thank you, Kasper. They have a beauty all their own. Butterflies symbolize many things, so yes, the poem could be a metaphor.

Nice little poem
I think the butterflies are beautiful, and I really like this poem. It reminded me of the beauty.
On the other hand, I wondered if the butterflies could also symbolize people..?

Sweet little poem RPresta. Given me an idea I could disguise my stolen fairies as butterflies. I hope you are not a Muse in disguise.

Awwh, a big thanks to you, S. Sister, for that! It makes me happy to see your pictures! Soon the Monarchs shall return, I think. And the fairy butterfly is a beauty!
