Loved the post! Cracked me up. Tomato growing is a tradition in my family. We're Southern; Southern Italian. LOL! Yep, I would love to grow heirloom anything. May do so. Howver, the rabbits, birds, and assorted creatures tend to enjoy what gets grown around these parts...

Did your Arrow funpaper have anything to do with this?? "Me And My Arrow"..... very popular song, turned into a popular cartoon. I remember this from my childhood on TV:

Well I usually grow little tomatoes Bill or ones that have an immunity to blight which is rampant here at times . I must admit I like the old tried and tested flowers, A lot of stuff on offer is not suitable for the ordinary gardener.

If I were a gardener
And you were my gentleman,
I would grow anything
as long as it was genuine
I'd grow you heirloom things
so old and so fine
and we could celebrate
with bounty off of the vine (take off from Johnny Cash & June Carter)

I myself am not a gardener, so the answers are no and none, respectively.
