My wife is from Thailand, and once when we were in Thailand, we stayed at a hotel owned by a Sikh gentleman. He was very nice to us, for no reason other than we were a extra-national couple. He was reaching out to us, which a Muslim would not do. He gave us some literature, which I read. The Sikh religion is far superior, by morality or any other measure, to Islam. It is not predatory.

I cannot say that I am surprised about this bill being proposed...I'm sure there are those who actually feel it is too light.

Those kind of people are not like that because they are Pentecostals, they would be like that even if they were no religion at all. They feed off of each other. I have known a few very loving Pentecostal people, and Presbyterians, and Baptists, and Catholics... There are some in every church, in every denomination, but at the same time, there are also people who are what God intended them to be. Generalization of anything belittles all.

getting back to our discussion...and your comment in my post...No the Pentecostals won't cut off one's head or throw a bomb but the nonsense they will pursue a person with amounts to stalking or abuse. can you imagine how quickly the father of my kids moved me along when a man told me how blessed I was to be born female. I never had to worry about thinking. I had a husband to do that for me. Politics were beyond my sphere, my husband would guide me, as he would in all aspects of my life...What a release for a woman not to have to worry about anything, just happily raise her children and take care of her husbands needs..
No it isn't Sharia law but guess who was called a slut when our marriage broke apart!!!
