When life is tough, it does feel like there is no beauty.

I liked this poem, for it evokes a stark feeling of the write. Maaa, so non vero. And you are thinking of them. Also, it makes me think of the song, "Send Me No Roses..." and Plato's words: "Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder." If everything was all hearts and flowers, how syrupy and boring that would be, si? I send a rose for ya anyway.

I suppose not Joe, although something usually grows and you still have the imagination to think roses if you wanted too.
