I might say, "Hey, look! A shark..."

Hm' I can't say I like sharks and once after seeing that film Jaws I developed Glandular Fever. I could not watch that first scene with that music if you offered me a fish supper.

In the case of the beached animal, alert the authorities. I probably would not think too much of anything if someone caught one on a boat.

As a teen I once was swimming out pretty far in the ocean and saw this "thing" coming toward me. It kept getting closer and closer. I screamed for help but no one was close enough. I swam as fast as I could for shore as it gained on me. I made it, and was standing on the sand, shakey and out of breath. My younger brother swam in behind me, and then stood there laughing! Outraged and indignant after just getting chased by a shark, I read him my best riot act. He still was laughing as he said, "That wasn't a shark, it was a seal!" I was severely myopic and had no glasses for swimming!
