Yes, indeed, we are all perhaps duplicitous creatures, to some extent. Some working for good, some working for evil. The Muslim variety tends to be far more duplicitious and devoius than the rest of us, I think. Their scriptures tell them that they can lie to us (not to mention kill us) whenever they want to. I am quite sure that Saudi Arabia is far more our enemy than our friend, and that was before I read this post.

There is always more stuff--kept hidden, denied, unexplained. That is human nature of all leaders of all countries for as long as there have been people on the earth. We are duplicitous creatures.

I remember seeing Obama curtsy or bow to the Saudi King or the princes whatever. If he isn't Muslim I am a grasshopper. missed your posts.

I am not surprised by this information. Generally, I have been very suspicious of Saudi Arabia's government as a whole.
