The competition is fierce out there today for our children. Most have a desire to try braver, bolder activities. Better structured activities than roaming the streets, I think. The key is probably proper instruction and supervision; "front-loading" them, as some say.

Stronger activities are better but some of the stuff going on with instruction is not.
