I believe in pro choice and it irriates me today how many parents leave their children in cars when its hot and they die and ignore them in swimming pools and they drown.

You are indeed courageous to breach this subject. I agree that abortions should not be done to healthy fetuses, but I do not think it is always murder. I have a rather unusual view of abortion, based upon my studies and readlings of spiritual matters (including the Bible). I think that most of us exist as souls BEFORE we are born, that we have lived lives before this (as in reincarnation). Those people whose memories have been awakened, by various means, remember coming (as a soul) to occupy the body of the baby in the few months or weeks before birth. They (we) do not occupy the fetus at conception or close to it, because it is not ready, and besides, that would be horribly dreadfully BORING, like being stuck inside a growing plant that cannot move.
The status of "human" has at least 3 components that we know of: body, mind, soul. Nautikos may object here, but just because we cannot see or measure the soul, that DOES NOT MEAN that it does not exist. I think the soul is perhaps the most important component that makes us "human".
So, according to this scenario, if the physical body of the developing baby is killed before occupation, it has no soul occupying it, so it is not fully human, so this does not rise to the level of murder. This is the time period when the needs or desires of the parents could be considered, if they want to abort. If the physical body of the baby is killed AFTER occupation, still in the womb, that is sad, wrong, and so on. It could even be called murder. The soul might be traumatized, but is only displaced, and will be assigned another baby in due time. The body is killed, but the soul lives on, just as when any of us adults are killed. The soul will occupy another fetus later. This comment might open up other cans of worms, but that is my 2-cents worth. I don't think I will be adding another penny's worth here. Probably a lot of things would be better if we did not have freedom of choice Justi. Sadly many would like a child and it does not happen.

Many people will be voting with that in mind. I do not think either mainstream candidate is the answer, though, when it comes to abortion.
