Well PC screens probably give instant fulfillment. A good toy should educate and give a sense of the environment Bill. Please don't ask what toy does that. Skipping rope was the best invention for girls maybe.

What a great post! I think it depends on the age group of children and their toys. I think yes, kids still love great toys.

I would say their equal but can be associated with different generations. Each generation has toys that are associated with them. For example, Etch a Sketch or whatever it is called makes me think of the 1980s and that dream of happiness that fits with that.
