Obummer is so disgusting
I can't remember a president who has been caught in so many blatant lies and misrepresentations, and gets away with no consequences.
We should have kept Iran's money, to pay for all the American lives and equipment that their Iranian bombs destroyed in the Iraq war. They were supplying our enemies with sophisticated shape-charge bombs for their roadside bombs and mines.
Not to mention the American military and civilian equipment we had at the American embassy and elsewhere in Iran, that we lost in their revolution. Every hostage should have filed claims against Iran, for many millions. The cost to America from their revolution probably EXCEEDED 400 million. And we let them get away with it.

I can have fun reading this kind of stuff in a Baldacci thriller where his heroes have severe flaws and powerful men of influence are easily corruptible. But, in real life, it makes me nauseous.

I would not be surprised if he is lying, that he intended for it to be ransom money.
It is amazing how long it took for the media to discuss the $400 million. Better late than never, I guess they would say...
