well they may all do it but because I couldnt purchase the soda from them they could of just gave me the cup, plus they had offered me a cup of water

I wonder how many other fast food joints do that. A cookie does not seem like good compenstation for that.

I have had that happen at several fast food places over the years! Call me cheap, but there are times when I will fill my traveling cup with ice and bring a drink with me. Of course, you can't do that at work! You'd think they could at least comp you a sandwich. Well, as you said, you can take your business elsewhere!
