PTL.King was ahead of 2016 Trump.Hilary respects King's Beloved Community
- that much I give her credit for, and that she defended Children and their rights since college days. TRUMP is a johnny-come-lately to the Jesus voters. God bless him too

Dr. King was there when Kwame Nkrumah became one of the earliest free PM
of Ghana, the first in 1957, to end colonialism with non-violent Positive Action. King was so proud of Africa ... his ermon at Dexter Ave Baptist chucrh following the Spring visit was an inspiring read. He called for santions against racist-Trump like South Africa in 1963! Sanctions passed US congress in 1986, when great congressional leaders rejected Ronald Reagan's veto, meant to keep dealing with racist S. Africa

Powerful, honest and uplifting!
Very good expression of your feelings. I too so wish we could all have a deeper sense of vision with our eyes; well many do but many still do not. The vision to see beyond skin shade, cultural differences, etc. and use what we see inside a person's heart or soul to make our judgment about them. Martin Luther King, Jr. is a true hero to me, along with Rosa Parks - both just said no to continuing the status quo of racism, special treatment, exceptionalism and did so without ever striking or shooting, bombing anyone or slashing, burning or destroying anything other than the system that greatly harmed them physically, emotionally, economically and mentally. I am so grateful for their courage and wisdom. Write on, I look forward to reading more..

Well said, and I can easily dream along with you...
When I lived in Beacon Hill neighborhood of Seatte and worked at Seattle Community College in the Capitol Hill neighborhood, "the world" was diverse - people from all over the world shared seats on the bus, walked the streets from coffee shop to bookstore to wherever - without even noticing that we were not all the same. I loved it there, and only moved back to this town because my daughter's husband passed away suddenly and she needed my financial and emotional support while she put her life back together. There was a time - or maybe it was just that place - where we were better together, but there seems to be a disturbance in the force these days. Keep dreaming!!!

What a darling you are. If only the world was full of people just like you it wouldn't be a dream. We would all be tolerant of our differences and embrace them because all together, we make the whole. The whole human race. My elder son was born in 1968 and I named him Martin. I loved Martin Luther King and supported his ideals his courage.
