I don't believe anyone can give an answer to this poetic question that could ever ease the pain of love and lost for the families...but, we can offer our heartfelt deepest sympathy!

Re: Re: Riversidepoet
Oh, I am so deeply sorry for their loss and the loss of your grandchild. I spent the first month of my life in a hospital!

thanks chuck for coming by and for your comments, I appreciate you, it is a sad, sad thing to deal with for the expecting parents and those that love them, this happened to my dear friends, they ask me to write a poem concerning this, they knew that I had lost a grandson at 4 months old that never got to leave the hospital, so this is what I wrote from my heart, I believe somehow it gave them comfort, thanks and have a great day

Re:
thanks Kabu for stopping by , this is a terrible fact of life, some dear friends of mine at church lost their first child this way, everything was going find, they were going to the doctor to find out the sex of the baby , only to find there was no heartbeat, my heart broke for them, but now they have a beautiful baby girl and another one on the way, we don't understand everything, but still we must just trust God.

Oh, I have seen this happen to my very dear friend! It was the most tragic thing. The doctors knew the baby was not living, and she had to wait 6 weeks carrying the dead baby in her until she went into labor naturally. The baby had strangled. By then my friend was almost dead. And it gets worse... But, your poem reminded me like it was yesterday. I don't know why. Now it would not happen with ultrasound. A very good poem.

It is sad to see the little children's tiny graves with teddy bears and dolls, I know what you mean Kent.
