Yes you are right - basically it is a state of tranquility within oneself.

Hi Ciel, yes it is as you have described so well - a stage of release of fears and beliefs and in the path to divinity. Thank you.

This is an excellent thought put very nicely into poetry. I find silence is my nature. It makes me feel the richness of tranquility.

Well it is said that silence is golden Shobana. I suppose it depends how one experiences it. If you can make it act to your benefit that is rather clever. Your poem gives us things to ponder over , nice to see your writing.

Sometimes silence and darkness are akin.
I think getting to that place where silence is sublime means going through a place of darkness, of veils and shadows that distort silence into alarming things. To get beyond them means getting past one's own inner veils of beliefs, shadows of fears... to transcend one's most human havings and doings and thinkings, etc, to reach the state of being, that is nearer to the divine.

For some people, that sort of silence evokes a feeling of tranquility within oneself while for others, it evokes a feeing of inner turmoil. I guess it boils down to how in tune one is with other people that determines how one responds to such a state.
