It is lovely that your daughter helped you out. I hate having to hastle with technology but I have fears for my old lap top. We fight but we know each other so well i don't want her to die.

I suppose you could wipe your Chrome Book and install again, my brother did his but I have no idea how.

I am glad to read that things are working out with the laptop, instead. It seems like the computer problems always have to happen after the warranty expires.
