The rug rats probably have their electronic toys from days gone by,
since Santa won't leave new ones until Christmas morning. You could put a Disney movie on the TV - and I like earlier commenter's suggestion about coloring books, etc. The best way to get them to go to their own corner is to ask one of the grownup cliche questions, like how's school this year or what do they want to be when they grow up.

Have a wonderful time. I think Christmas movies, age appropriate, snacks within reason, and assorted coloring projects, games, sing-alongs maybe. Older ones can assist with the younger ones?

I think Pandora has a station dedicated to Christmas music! For the kids perhaps a variety of Christmas movies! I love 'A Christmas Story.' sam

Ok inside things for kids of I presume all ages. Is there an area where they can do their own thing/ books toys coloring books and pencils. you suggested music. Will there be a piano there or could you just get kids to sing songs...christmas songs. You can probably get words from the internet and down load them, make your own books for them to sing from. get everyone to bring a gift for their child/children, nothing over say $3.00 and get the uncle to be Santa.
